Rick Barnes holds a Master of Liberal Arts degree from Texas Christian University and a Bachelor of Science degree from Texas Tech University. He is a member of FarmHouse Fraternity, where he served on the International Board of Directors for eight years; the North-American Interfraternity Conference (NIC), where he served for nine years; and the Association of Fraternal Leadership and Values. Rick was President of the Association of Fraternity Advisors (AFA) and the AFA Foundation.
He is a respected member of the National Speakers Association (NSA) and is well known for his contributions to numerous books and print publications, specifically five leadership books he authored through his own company, TopLeader Publishing. Rick and his wife, Sheila, live in Keller, Texas. In his free time he enjoys sports, reading and furthering leadership development, both personally and professionally.
